Stop Thinking Outside the Box . . . Make the Box Bigger

We’ve all been to wonderful lectures—probably more than our fair
share. Yet when we go back to the office on Monday, life gets in the way and all the great ideas we got from the lecture fly right out the window. It isn't about education—it is about creating a change in behavior and proficiency. We "learn" many things, we assimilate
and use very few of them.

Greg Tice will explore seven concepts you can use to put your growth and change on autopilot. We’ll talk about filtering out unnecessary information so the important stuff gets through, creating an ongoing growth mindset, and how to navigate all of this when current beliefs clash with new evidence and ideas. The session closes with an opportunity to learn from each other as the group shares how they’ve distinguished themselves in the marketplace. The goal of this final exchange—take one single, simple, doable thing back to the office and implement

Habits, Attitudes and Beliefs - Leveraging Your Capacity for Growth

Why do we keep falling back into old patterns? Why can’t we just decide what to do and then do it? Executing on all of our plans, ideas, hopes and desires is the single biggest obstacle we face. Because we are naturally self-regulating as human beings, we can actually take advantage of the way our brain works to create the business, life, and team that we want.

Efficacy, our ability to cause things to happen, is a critical component when exploring our ability to grow. An understanding of how we develop this skill of efficacy is important for the entire team to embrace. This session will not only help you identify what works cognitively when trying to create change, it will also help you establish short and long-term goals to create accountability, and define the necessary steps to achieve your greatest aspirations. This combination lecture and workshop will explore in detail the specific psychological principles and processes that help us move toward achieving our potential.
