Georgie-Ann Getton

My name is Georgie-Ann Getton I am a NY-based tech ecosystem trailblazer. I am a 26 yr old black female immigrant from Jamaica and mom of 2. I am the author of The Art of Getting Sh*t Done, a memoir and entrepreneurship guide. And the host of Doing The Most The Misadventures of Entrepreneurship Podcast. As my full-time job I am the CEO and Lead Execution Strategist of GSD Solutions, a business development agency I founded in 2019. During the 2020 Pandemic, my business grew 4X due to our virtual event production services. I am currently building Doer Labs a virtual collaboratory and accelerator program. I am also a multimedia content creator and thought leader through my personal brand GSD with Georgie. I am passionate about developing inclusive, innovative, and experience-driven business models. Additionally, I hold a seat on the NY Tech Alliance and Caribbeans in Tech & Entrepreneurship Boards. I graduated from Baruch College in 2017 with a B.A in Business Communications and have taken courses on Entrepreneurship at both eCornell and Harvard Business School Online.
