ACE Comic Con and Wizard Entertainment were both founded by Gareb Shamus. Shamus was the editor-in-chief of a number of publications, including ToyFare: The Toy Magazine and Wizard: The Comics Magazine. Additionally, he co-founded International Fight League Inc. and served as its CEO.
