With over a decade in governance, Eunice Thomas is a leading voice in the educational sector in Akwa-Ibom State and Nigeria. Eunice holds an Honorary Doctorate degree from University of Canterbury.
During her time as commissioner for education in Akwa Ibom state, Eunice ensured the speedy passage and implementation of the Child Rights Act and the free and compulsory education policy. Eunice Thomas, through her education consulting firm (VELTIO LIMITED) provides a globally celebrated education solution package called the outcome based education model.
In partnership with the department of leadership and critical thinking she founded Top Teaching Aid, a non-governmental teacher training organization.

She is also a John Maxwell leadership fellow and a member of the global john Maxwell team. Eunice Thomas has spoken on various platforms and has mentored many young people directly and indirectly. She has trained the Nigerian Immigration Service, Akwa-Ibom State command, Nigerian Maritime Akwa-Ibom State, Supervisors and Esit Eket Councilors, Aides and Advisers of reputable Nigerian legislatures amongst others.
