Bio

Ethan Raath, ThD., is an executive leadership speaker, coach, consultant, and trainer, committed to helping present and future leaders successfully balance personal and professional demands of life and work. Affirmed for his engaging presence, eloquent speaking, and inspiring presentations, he weaves personal experience, meaningful insights, appealing humor, animated story telling, and practical principles into his presentations to inspire, motivate, and inform his audiences.

Ethan draws on a richly varied background and 40 years of public speaking experience, which equips him to effectively relate to all types of audiences. In corporate, academic, nonprofit, and religious settings, he has served as executive director and head of staff, communication professor, faith leader, and consultant in leadership growth, team development, employee relations, organizational dynamics, conflict management, and career transition.

As owner of Highwire Leadership, he coaches people to make a difference by leading with excellence. With his calm professionalism and skill, leaders learn to balance the push for results and pull of relationships that affect performance by growing their potential, maintaining their equilibrium, enhancing their ability to manage relationships, and increasing productivity.

Originally from South Africa, he engaged in the struggle for human rights, race relations, and community development and worked with refugee relief, which informs his speaking engagements. Raath was honored with the Friendship Medallion from the Cincinnati Human Relations Commission for his work in promoting race relations. He enjoys traveling for his work.
