My personal career crossed the path of Emanuele's several times in the past 14 years: I can't hide that every time he could inspire my job and brain with fresh new ideas. Making Research and Development with such a brilliant mind at the head of the IT team led to some great innovations when we worked together. Solutions for online documents which were never explored before, such as online signatures directly applied on the docs from the web application in 2009, or tiled content delivery apps based on user preferences in a radio/multimedia application in 2012. If we think about them, they were probably too advanced for the time being: online signatures of docs became regular only in 2018, and web interfaces like Netfilx brought his same ideas to wider public only recently. I was and still am very lucky to have crossed the path with such a brilliant mind. And will never stop to thank Emanuele for his incredible ability to pass his ideas and passion to any audience he had in front of him. His ability to communicate complexity with simple words is admirable. His rhetoric skills are a natural gift to him. He can find a simple metaphor for anything. And anything becomes easy to be resolved or developed after a quick chat with him. I got a hint for anyone that will have the luck to listen to Emanuele's speech: try to catch as much as you can from his words, because probably after 5 years from that speech you could come back and listen to that again, finding many prophetic anticipations of the technology to be.

I worked several times with Emanuele, as a collaborator and consultant and each time I was able to see first-hand his passion and his competence. Emanuele is an extremely proactive and curious person, but above all he is a manager who brings out the best in the people he works with and manages to create the best conditions to carry out an excellent project.
