He then pursued a theological education, earning a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in Chaplaincy, a Master of Divinity (MDiv) in Homiletics at Liberty University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Trinity International University. His journey transformed from spinning records in nightclubs to a quest for spiritual truth, marked by his academic achievements.
