Bio

Dr. Larry Edmonds is an emeritus and Barrett Honors Faculty member at Arizona State University. He has taught Leadership, Gender (Intercultural) and Communication, Conflict and Negotiation, Training and Development, and more. He now speaks at local, state and national conferences and sessions on a variety of professional development topics. Dr. Edmonds served as Director, Education Leadership Innovation for the Global Listening Centre (2016-2019) and currently serves on the Advisory Board, Diversity in Organizations, Communities & Nations. Larry is a Robert B. Rutherford, Jr. Memorial Fellow for his work directly with learners who are registered with ASU’s Disability Resources Center (DRC) and Dessie E. Larsen Fellow for Communication/ Presentation Performance.

This live, in-person session offers information on the difficulties individuals with invisible "disabilities" encounter in workplaces and how to remove many of those obstacles for co-workers/employees, why remove them, as well as applicable aspects of American with Disabilities laws. It can be quite motivational and helpful to employers at all levels!
