Dr. Barbara Schwarck is the founder and CEO of Clear Intentions International (CII) through which she practices an innovative executive coaching technique – Neuro Emotional Coaching® – which she developed over two decades. Combining neuroscience with executive coaching, this process helps clients break through barriers and align their intentions in support of their goals and aspirations.

Dr. Schwarck inspires clarity and breakthroughs in the ways that people think, feel and behave, thus opening up the space and opportunity for rapid and sustainable change, leadership development and goal attainment with a focus on bottom-line results.

After emigrating from Germany to the United States in the late 1980s, Dr. Barbara Schwarck accumulated multiple degrees, including: Master’s degrees in Applied Psychology and Public and International Affairs, and a Doctorate in Spiritual Science (DSS). She is certified as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF) and from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI). Through her extensive studies in kinesiology, she is a certified Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) practitioner and incorporates this methodology as an integral element of her Neuro Emotional Coaching® approach. This vast interdisciplinary mindset is what makes Dr. Schwarck’s executive coaching strategy so unique and effective.

Dr. Schwarck has served on numerous boards, mentored for Entrepreneurial Excellence and Women Entrepreneurs, and is a Women in Business Award Winner. Dr. Schwarck was also nominated for the Global Pittsburgh Immigrant Entrepreneur Award. And, Corporate Vison awarded her Best Woman-Owned Global Executive Coaching Firm and Best Executive Coaching CEO 2016 – Pennsylvania.

As a renowned and frequent lecturer, Dr. Schwarck delivers powerful keynotes at conferences and seminars and guest lectures at universities and colleges. She has appeared on national and local television and radio stations and is a published author (From Intuition to Entrepreneurship). Barbara Schwarck, CEO of Clear Intentions International (CII), has been coaching since she was 12 years old, when she coached her older brother on how to handle his money. Immigrating to the United States from Germany at the age of 23 with nothing but a backpack to her name she has honed a rare set of skills, enabling her to deliver powerful keynotes to a variety of people interested in clarifying, identifying and achieving goals. As an executive coach and author of From Intuition to Entrepreneurship: a Woman’s Guide to Following Her Dream, Barbara has the insight to achieve quick and lasting success with a focus on bottom-line results. And, since success involves the entire person, Barbara has created Neuro Emotional Coaching®, a cutting edge 4-step process rooted in neuroscience that combines executive and life coaching with knowledge of the human brain and its impact on change and leadership and healing one’s past.

Barbara is not only experienced, but also very well trained. She is a coach certified by the Coaches Training Institute and the International Coach Federation (ICF). She is an active ICF member, a founding member of the International Association of Coaches and past president of the Pittsburgh Coaches Association. In addition to her doctoral degree in Spiritual Science from the Peace Theological Seminary and College of Philosophy, Barbara holds a master’s degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. She has written two leading cross-cultural courses for an international consulting company with 44 offices around the globe. She is a graduate of Carnegie Bosch Institutes’ course on Leadership in a Multicultural Context and has been trained to debrief 360 employee feedback tools by The Institute für Angewandte Kreativität and Cerney Smith Cross Cultural Index. She is also a graduate of Sandler Sales Training.

Barbara served on the board of the Executive Women’s Council of Pittsburgh from 2009 - 2015. She is a former mentor for the University of Pittsburgh Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence and Chatham University’s Center for Women Entrepreneurs. She is a member of the advisory board for Classroom Without Boarders and Women-Drivers, LLC. In 2012 Barbara was one of the winners of the Business Women First. In 2016 Barbara was nominated for the Global Pittsburgh Immigrant Entrepreneur Award. And, Corporate Vison awarded her Best Woman-Owned Global Executive Coaching Firm and Best Executive Coaching CEO 2016 – Pennsylvania.
