Abdel Aziz Nossier is a seasoned executive and thought leader with over 30 years of experience driving organizational transformation and excellence in the finance and education sectors. Since taking office as Executive Director of the Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI) in 2017, he has led the institute through a remarkable expansion—growing its market share fivefold and extending its footprint across Africa from eight to forty-four countries. He also spearheaded the launch of an innovative e-learning platform and mobile application that revolutionized access to banking education.
Prior to joining EBI, Nossier spent 14 years at the American University in Cairo (AUC), serving as Associate Director of Organizational Excellence in Libraries and Learning Technologies. His work included leading strategic planning efforts, developing competency models, and driving institution-wide initiatives in quality, performance, and continuous improvement.
Nossier’s passion for education extends beyond leadership roles. He has been an active lecturer in executive and professional programs at AUC and other universities since 2005, where he is known for his engaging teaching style and practical insights.
He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Helwan University and completed the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School. His contributions to human capital development have earned multiple regional and international awards.
