Women have often faced bias and historically been shut out of financing. In 2021, she saw a common problem emerge after watching countless women struggle to attain significant financing to grow their businesses. Predatory loans and overleveraging personal funds were one of the many issues holding these entrepreneurs back. Multiple short terms loans taking daily payments were killing businesses. Not to mention, the thousands of women owned enterprises not being referred to other sources once denied by their banks.
Dominique knew she had to do something. It was then she began her mission to make financial resources accessible and available to Founders, leveling the playing field, despite background, industry, geography or gender.
Dominique went on to build DominoFX Group, an online platform that helps underserved female founders establish a foundation, then access the best small business financing by matching these Founders to Funders, even if they've been denied by traditional banks.
Along with the community, The Domino Effect, the platform was created to coach and guide female founders in business with strategic steps and a clear pathway to funding, while saving their most valuable resource – time.
Our mission is big, bold and attainable. To provide $25M in funding by end of 2025.
