Deborah Markowitz Solan

I grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and graduated high school at the age of 16. I was the first high school student intern at Sesame Street - Electric Company Magazines.

Following graduation from college,at the age of 20, with a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from West Virginia University, I have had a 40-year career in journalism, public relations, philanthropy and teaching. I have worked with top corporate and community leaders, university presidents, and physicians throughout Northeast Ohio.

I am a free-lance writer and have been published in several national magazines. I recently published a book (Trilogy Publishing), entitled "Chesed (Mercy) - A Jewish Woman's Discovery of God's Mercy." I am an inspirational speaker and am devoted to helping people experience the passionate love of God for them.

‘Chesed’ is filled with stories about how:

- Fear is overcome by faith;

- Feelings of abandonment are overcome by a deep sense of

belonging;

- Sorrow is overcome by joy;

- Tragedy is overcome by healing; and

- Emptiness is overcome by hope.
