My name is David Haze and I am a 4 times world record holder and Stand Up Paddlebaord (SUP) adventurer, attempting world first and world records.
I most recently decided to live by my own personal motto, which is "through adventure we live". For me life is one giant adventure and it should be embraced as just that.
However, I have not always seen it this way and it took me to be serving my second prison sentence to realise how lost and broken I had become.
I am using adventure as a tool to learn more about myself, to change & grow in a positive way. I also want to use my adventures as a platform to highlight the importance of rehabilitation and prove that our past and mistakes do not define who we are and with the right commitment and attitude we can achieve anything in life. I also hope that I can change perspectives on people like myself so we can create positive and safer communities for all of us to live in.
But most of all, I hope my story and adventures can motive others to take that step out of their comfort zone and learn more about who they truly are and what they are capable of to live a much more meaningful life.
