Bio

I have what you would call an eclectic background. I am a former Professional Racquetball Player, achieving a rank of #18 in the world. After this chapter of my life, I went on to be the Head Coach of the Arizona State University Racquetball Team, amassing a Women's National Championship, 13 top ten finishes, over three dozen Collegiate All Americans, and I am the proud two-time recipient of the Collegiate Coach of the Year Award in my 15 years in this role.

I my professional life I am the Vice President of Sales at TriageNow, and have been with the company since inception. I have helped grow the company into a multi-million dollar entity, with a client base including General Mills, Goodyear Tire, American Red Cross, Liberty Mutual and many more.

After surviving a high speed, head-on collision with a wrong way drunk driver in 2015, I decided to pursue Public Speaking, as this has been an area of interest for me, but not something I ever engaged in until recently. I use my background and wide-ranging experiences to connect with audiences of all kinds.

This talk shares my journey of going from $70,000 worth of personal debt to being debt free. An odd catalyst started this quest, and I learned from several resources along the way. In just a few years my wife and I went from deep in the hole to paying off everything except our house. Anyone can follow in our footsteps and change their lives!

Don't Jobify Your Passion

In this talk I share my contrarian thoughts on advice that many of us had heard for a long time: Find a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life.

I don't believe this is true; an entrepreneur works harder than anyone and the ride is anything but smooth. For me personally, I am not an advocate of trying to carve a living out of a passion. I did this myself, and burned out because of it, and fortunately I figured out a better approach to share with others, even though it was too late for me to pursue this route myself.
