I experienced the deepest loss in my life when my husband Frank died in a tragic motorcycle accident. It was a loss so deep that darkness consumed me. I lost all hope of finding light and joy again until I discovered the Grief Recovery Method. Once I acquired the correct tools to heal my heart I set out a mission to help others do the same. I have turned my pain into purpose by sharing my story and helping others heal.
Through my HR background, I learned that most organizations are ill equipped to support their employees coming back to work from a grief event. I have a huge passion to work with organizations to teach them the right tools to be more supportive and I help them build customized return to work programs that promotes a culture of compassion.
Through my healing journey I had to rediscover who I was, the Darlene that exists without Frank. On this journey, I discovered self love transformation and now help others learn to love themselves from the inside out.
It is my mission to give grief a voice, spread love and compassion through speaking engagements as well as workshops and programs both online and offline.
