Grew a service business from less than $10K the first year to over $90K at the 7 year mark.
Realized that at 22, I hated everyone equally.
That in order to succeed, I had a lot of work to do.
I know what it is to lose everything.
At different points,to sleep in the back room of the church for a few weeks (in my late teens) waiting for a new room to open up to rent.
To have less than $10 in your checking acct.
When your birthday present to yourself is a $1 burger and a tea.
When you spend $175 of your last $200 to put new parts on an old vehicle so you can get to work, while your phone is shut off and your wife's vehicle dies, and subsequently watches it be repossessed through the front window of our single-wide "premanfactured" home.
To become so depressed I couldn't bring myself to get out of bed because, though I was willing and able, there was no work to be had.
I know the agony of defeat.
And I am blessed to know the taste of Victory.
To help build an orphanage in Guatemala.
To buy tools for other business owners, the same way my father-in-law bought a few critical tools for me.
To help build churches throughout Florida.
To identify and develop plans of attack and execution for other organizations, casting vision and leading with purpose.
