Shelly Elliott is a driven, passionate, results-focused executive with extensive experience in leadership, transforming operations and driving profitability across global companies spanning various industries including refining, chemicals, materials, and now public safety. Shelly’s professional passion is to grow customer-oriented businesses while building high-functioning teams that win and have fun. Her leadership ethos is to "do extraordinary things, with extraordinary people, from a place of integrity." With roots as a coach's daughter, athlete, and chemical engineer, Shelly uses the lessons she learned in team sports and the perspective gained by often being the only woman at the table to be objective, engage and develop others, solve problems, and make decisions. A graduate of Notre Dame and Texas A&M, Shelly takes an entrepreneurial mindset, bias for action, and continuous learning approach to growing businesses and people. She is a champion for women’s representation, equity, and access and committed to developing women for leadership, power, and authority. Shelly is currently the President of North America for Holmatro, the leading manufacturer of hydraulic rescue tools for first responders in the fire, law enforcement, special tactics, and military segments. Holmatro has had a presence in Anne Arundel County since 1984. Since joining in 2023, Shelly has strengthened Holmatro’s reputation that customers can count on us, for life.
Shelly and her husband Scott reside in Millersville with their daughters Liberty and Moxie and their dog Biscuit. Giving back to and serving the community is important to the Elliott family, participating in various events and financially contributing to organizations that align with the family’s values and causes to support women, children, and sports. Examples include the United Way of Central Maryland, Women’s Sports Foundation, and the University of Notre Dame. Shelly is currently serving as the United Way of Anne Arundel County Run Board Chair.
