CLAUDIA COENEN

Claudia Coenen, certified grief counselor and author presents experiential workshops that include creative activities designed to help grieving people. A Fellow in Thanatology, Claudia has studied the science o death, dying and bereavement and understands grief first hand. Claudia has assisted hundreds of bereaved people through their grief process and maintains a private practice in Hudson, NY.

Claudia is the author of Shattered by Grief: Picking up the Pieces to become WHOLE again and the developer of the Karuna Cards, a deck of creative ideas for grief and difficult transitions. Her publisher, JKP Books, will release her newest book, A Creative Toolkit for Working with Grief and Bereavement: A Practitioner's Guide, in May 2020. This new book contains 30 creative activity sheets that may be copied to use with grieving clients.
