Chris Severn is a Certified Bob Ross Landscape Instructor and a Lehigh Valley native, residing in Bethlehem with his wife and children for over 15 years. With over 20 years of experience as an artist, Chris is certified by Bob Ross, Inc. to instruct painting classes and training using the Bob Ross wet-on-wet technique.
Growing up in a creatively rich environment, Chris was inspired by his father, a professional magician, and his grandfather, a painter and musician. These influences, along with other supportive family members, helped shape Chris into the artist he is today.
Chris takes risks with his art and in all learning, inspired by Bob Ross’s belief that anything is possible. He blends Bob’s simple painting techniques with pop culture icons, creating unique and engaging art pieces.
As a friendly and outgoing instructor, Chris ensures that his students not only learn to paint but also have a great time doing so. He founded “Let’s Paint A Picture” to help others learn the Bob Ross Method and share the Joy of Painting with them.
Chris is passionate about sharing his journey as an artist and the importance of creativity in all aspects of life. He is available for keynote speaking engagements where he discusses his experiences, the influence of his artistic family, and the joy of taking creative risks.
