Chris Lausten is a seasoned entrepreneur and respected venture consultant. He is the CEO of Twelve31 Group, a strategic consulting firm that consults with and invests in innovative, technology-enabled businesses.
Chris has worked with venture-backed companies for nearly 20 years in several capacities – as a founder, operator and venture capitalist. As an entrepreneur, Chris established five companies, served on the senior management team of several early-stage organizations and provided angel investment or venture capital funding to more than 40 start-ups.
In his role as an advisor and board member during the past 19 years, Chris has assisted management teams in developing and fleshing out ideas and innovative solutions across a range of industries including web-enabled enterprise services, mobile commerce, digital media and advertising, publishing, healthcare software, pet products, consumer products, and restaurant development.
Chris is known for his passion for early stage innovation, his ability to collaborate with entrepreneurs, and his willingness to work actively to help build businesses.
