Bio

Carla Romo is an author, speaker and a certified life coach specializing in dating and relationships. At age 24, she hit her rock bottom with yet another toxic codependent relationship. But, this time, she got up and learned how to break free from codependency. Inspired by her self-growth journey, she took lemons and made lemonade. Today she helps people who feel stuck and stagnant build purpose and confidence in their life.

Today, Carla leads nationwide workshops and talks to people from varying backgrounds about self-love, relationships, confidence and wellness. Her work ranges from small group settings to hundreds of attendees either in person or virtual. She has been featured on or partnered with BRAVO, Bumble, Milwaukee Bucks, Simon Business School, Lifetime, Bustle, The Knot, as well as high rated iTunes Podcasts.

Carla attended the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) becoming a Certified Professional Coach and an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner. She also has a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Frostburg State University.

Break Free From Codependency for Damn Good

It's time to break free of codependent relationships (intimate, work, family, etc) and learn to thrive independently in healthy relationships. I will cover key focus points from my book Contagious Love such as boundaries, communication, self-love and self-care. Attendees will leave with a deeper awareness of confidence, self and a foundation for successful relationships.

Managing Stress & Stepping into Self-Care

This talk is focused on developing self-awareness as it pertains to stress triggers, and self-care. I will dive deep on topics such as preventing burnout without compromising performance, and how our thoughts have a direct impact on our success. Participants will leave with a personal accountability plan, and tools to help them manage stress in a healthy and sustainable way.

Create Thriving Connection in Any Relationship

One of the biggest desires in humans is connection. This talk is geared toward relationships with other people, managing expectations, and building up those around you. Each attendee will leave with tools for contributing to a healthy foundation of communication and support for themselves and others.

Rock Your Self-Love

Identifying and letting go of anything that is stopping you from connecting with yourself is the key to self-love. In this talk I will cover what is self-love and tangible and sustainable ways step into it.
