Once featured on channel 7, “Someone You Should Know” with Harry Porterfield, Brian Thompson grew up in Chicago’s Englewood community, graduated from Englewood H. S. and graduated with a BA in Communications & Military Science from Northern Illinois University. A former 1st Lieutenant in the U. S. Army, he has worked in therapeutic foster care and mental health for the last 26 years. Brian is certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid and he is a CPR/FIRST AID Instructor with American Red Cross. A 29 year experienced martial artist / self-defense instructor and healing arts practitioner, Brian Founded BFITBNEW4LIFE, a traveling Community Stress Management & Wellness Initiative that works with children, adult and senior groups. Presently, a Behavioral Health Specialist for Geminus Head Start in Hammond, therapeutic foster care case manager and Wellness Innovator, Brian’s mission is to improve the physical and mental well-being of those in need through Peaceful and Natural methods central the BNEW4LIFE philosophy.
