Brian Kersten Wisconsin, born and raised on a farm in Appleton, translated his early love for animals into a thriving career in veterinary medicine. He graduated with high distinction in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota in 1977. He completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1983, setting a solid foundation for his professional life dedicated to animal health and welfare.
In 2021, he identified a critical need for more accessible veterinary care and established the Mercy Veterinary Service in Baldwin, Wisconsin. His clinic, which offers affordable surgical, dental, and medical care for small animals, ensures that no pet owner is forced to forgo essential healthcare due to financial constraints. His leadership and commitment at this clinic testify to his dedication to the community and its animals.
Additionally, he serves as a relief veterinarian in Amery, Wisconsin. This role allows him to extend his services to various practices across the region, helping to uphold a high standard of veterinary care and broadening his influence on regional animal health.
