Having been associated with the themed entertainment industry for over 25 years, including time as a Walt Disney Imagineer, I created The Brainstorm Institute to leverage this background & experience. Through my consulting practice, I combine my creative skills with a strategic business acumen, enabling me to offer creative, design, and planning expertise unmatched in the industry.
In addition, I also channel my creative experience to educators and other corporate audiences. A highly sought-after speaker, I have presented at several conferences, delivered keynote addresses, and served on the faculty of several schools, including the University of Central Florida where I taught a course on "Product Development for Theme Parks.” I have also been interviewed on a wide variety of podcasts as well.
Finally, I often apply my love and deep understanding of new and emerging technologies to applications in themed entertainment, education, and business. Given that, a “normal” day for me might include exploring augmented reality, synthetic environments, holograms and exotic other “sci-fi” technology, which has been created…or is on its way. My ability to “connect the dots” between technology and entertainment is something I am known for.
For the record, I earned my Master’s degree in Marketing from Webster university, where I was a distinguished graduate, and my Bachelor’s degree in Advertising from Texas Tech University.
