After completing his degree in Mechanical engineering at the University of Notre Dame on a congressional scholarship, Brent became a combat engineer officer in the United States Army. There he honed his skills on leadership, planning, and the importance of communication. During his time in the Army Brent was a certified parachutist, graduated #1 in his Sapper School (the engineer equivalent to Ranger school) class and he was awarded four Army Commendation Medals, three Army Achievement Medals.
Post military, Brent joined General Electric where he had roles ranging across New Product Development, Sourcing, Continuous Improvement, and Industry Relationship Management. At GE he earned his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, and Master Black Belt. Since leaving GE, he has founded three companies and completed his MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. He has also completed numerous AI and Machine Learning certifications from Meta, Google, Microsoft, and DeepLearningAI.
Today, Brent is recognized as a top corporate trainer and speaker. He has worked with over 100 companies in 7 different countries.
