Bio

Brenden's journey as a Technology Leader and Accessibility Advocate is rooted in his mother's strong support and belief in his abilities.

As a Deaf person, he experienced firsthand the challenges of a world that oftentimes doesn't consider the needs of people like him. Brenden's mother never allowed these challenges to define him. She constantly reminded Brenden that he could achieve anything he set my mind to, inspiring him to rise above all obstacles.

Today, Brenden is driven to create a digital and physical world where everyone can thrive. He collaborates and partners with companies like VSL Labs, and Convo Communications to revolutionize accessibility through technology.

Brenden seeks to bolster individuals and organizations that share his passion for innovation, inclusion, and making a positive difference. Together, everyone can create a more inclusive and accessible world for people with disabilities.

Tech Circus UK - Accessibility Gap for People with Disabilities (Oct 2023)

Emerging technologies like augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) have the potential to revolutionize the way deaf people communicate and experience the world. For example, AR Glasses can translate speech into captions or provide a virtual interpreter inside the glasses, and VR can be used to create immersive training experiences for deaf people. In addition to AR and VR, there are a number of other emerging technologies that have the potential to benefit deaf people, such as on-demand interpreting services. Future capabilities: English to ASL (spoken, typed) and soon, sign language to text/voice. Overall, emerging technologies have the potential to make a significant impact on the lives of deaf people.
