Boštjan Trilar

Boštjan Trilar has twenty-five years of international experience in sales, marketing and top management.

Boštjan Trilar gained his first sales experience as a student when he was importing and selling Ford vehicles from Austria.

In years 1993 to 1998 he was Marketing manager in Summit motors (Ford importer/distributer for Slovenia and Macedonia), where he was responsible for products, pricing, advertising, dealer network and managing team of six people.

In years 1998 to 2004 he was employed as Marketing manager in Autocommerce - Avto Triglav, where he was responsible for Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Lancia brands. In this period, he achieved substantial market share growth and introduce financial product “half/half”, which is even today used by majority of automotive companies in Slovenia.

In 2004 he joined Toyota Adria as Regional Lexus manager and introduced Lexus brand in countries of ex-Yugoslavia in record time. He was also responsible for investments in Lexus sales and service centers in Ljubljana, Zagreb and Belgrade.

Due to successful Lexus introduction, Boštjan took over additional assignment as Toyota Regional sales and marketing manager. In years 2005 to 2007 Toyota was constantly achieving sales and financial records on all markets of ex-Yugoslavia.

In years 2007 and 2008 on top of being responsible for regional marketing, he became Director of Toyota Slovenia and member of the board Toyota Adria.

In 2009 to 2011 he was member of the board Toyota Adria and Director of Toyota Slovenia and Kosovo. He was also elected vice president of Slovenian automotive association.

In 2014 Boštjan Trilar was elected as mayor of the third biggest city in Slovenia, Kranj.

Returnig to business Boštjan was director of private Medical center Barsos in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Boštjan is currenlty company owner and distributer for One Assessment platform for Slovenina and Croatia

Boštjan is currenlty director of company Qonnexa d.o.o. (business process solutions)

Boštjan is currenlty executive director of company Workforce d.o.o. (HR consultancy)
