Bianca Diaz

Bianca Diaz is a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Austin, TX. She earned a Master's degree in Professional Counseling in May of 2021 with an emphasis in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling from Texas State University. She also earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in both Music and Psychology from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX in 2018.

Bianca has completed trainings and provided counseling services and psycho-education to adolescents and adults utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Bianca has worked with clients struggling with several issues including; grief and loss, PTSD and trauma, self-esteem and boundary setting, codependency recovery, parent training, burnout, and major life transitions.

Bianca engages her profound interest for people and mental health by providing mental health based consultation to trainees, students, peer groups, and associates. Bianca has spoken in and lead several groups on topics related to boundary setting, communicating effectively in relationships, emotion regulation, mindfulness, interpersonal relationships, unhelpful thinking patterns, grief, trauma, vulnerability, and self-compassion.
