Benish Shah

Benish Shah is the the VP of Marketing at Raised Real, a direct to consumer brand. She oversees brand, product, content, social, marketing, and CX. Prior to that, she was Head of Product Marketing at Refinery29 building out their technology offering and launching their first app, which exceeded annual goals within the first quarter. Her background focuses on go-to-market strategies for new products, companies, and concepts. That combined with a legal degree and extensive experience in the start up world gives her a unique perspective on how to grow ideas. Previously she lead market strategy at Say Media, co-founded and ran Before the Label, served as head of strategy for Eva Khurshid, and sold her first startup. She developed and taught the first Product Marketing course for General Assembly, and has spoken at several events on the changing landscape of market strategy and technology. Benish has been profiled in The Guardian and Rank & Style, and published in Forbes Women, Inc., Huffington Post and various other publications on entrepreneurship, technology, and women in the start up world.
