Ben is an award-winning Maritime Fintech consultant that was the 2021 “Young Contributor to the North” award winner as part of the Prolific North Champions awards category. He’s since been nominated for the “Digital Leader of the Year” award for 2022.
Ben sits on the Marine Trades Association committee for the British Marine Federation and has worked as a presenter with the likes of METS Trade; the world’s largest trade exhibition of marine equipment. His close relationship with media has led to a full scope of presentation work including; hosting, live streams, interviews, TV, social media influencer content and key-notes.
As a fintech consultant Ben has been directly involved in multiple payment innovation projects with world leading organisations in yacht charter and across the marine sector.
Ben started out working with a yacht charter agency based in Zurich, Switzerland and has since innovated the yacht charter industry leveraging fintech with world leading organisations in the space.
In his talks Ben presents his discoveries that present huge commercial opportunity whilst also balancing the moral debates that form much of the modern fintech conversation.
