Bio

After a decade in the publishing industry working as an action sports photographer and then magazine editor, I stumbled into the digital marketing industry in 2005.

Since then, I have built and exited two digital marketing agencies, and am now invested in several digital ventures in the blockchain, crypto, AI and sustainable/renewable sectors.

A natural problem-solver with an entrepreneurial spirit, my passion is in understanding and finding uses for EmTech to solve the major challenges. I connect the dots.

I have spoken at dozens of conferences for organisations like Unilever, Shell, RE/MAX, Radius Solutions Group, BRICS, Digital Day, as well as several teachers associations, chambers of commerce and entrepreneur clubs.

Award for Contribution to South African Youth Culture

In 2007, I was awarded the Vodacom 4U Performance Award for Artistic Contribution to South African Youth Culture following a nationwide vote, garnering over 100,000 votes.

Photographer of the Year

I was named as Photographer of the Year at the prestigious South African Surfing Awards.

Aces Up Award for Photographer of the Year

I received the 2007 Aces Up Award for Photographer of the Year.

Red Bull Snap Shot runner-up

I was runner-up in the inaugural Red Bull Snap Shot photographic competition.
