Barney Ellis-Perry is the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Alumni Relations and CEO of the UC Irvine Alumni Association. He is passionate about engaging people with organizations that make a difference in the world.

Barney has a long and successful career in alumni engagement and fundraising. Previously, he served in a leadership role at his alma mater, the University of British Columbia. During his time there, Barney’s passion for innovation played a pivotal role in the university’s comprehensive re-engineering of alumni engagement, especially in the creation and successful execution of a campaign with the dual goals of raising $1.5 billion in private support and doubling alumni engagement. He is a recent recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal from the Prime Minister of Canada for his volunteer efforts at the national level in Canada.
