Barbara earned her associate’s degree from ECPI in computer electronics, her bachelor’s degree from St. Leo University in computer information, and her master’s degree in management from Troy State University. Barbara owns and operates BHS Consulting and Training, LLC., a consulting organization that provides customized training to small, medium, and large corporations.
Barbara has worked in many industries, including information technology, academia, construction, hotel management, transportation, and sales. She coaches individuals and small businesses and shares her vast knowledge and experience to help others grow in their lives and in their businesses. She is certified in Microsoft Office Productivity products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and is a graduate of the National Speakers Association Speaker Academy.
In her spare time, Barbara serves as the clerk of her church or assists non-profit organizations, and improves her craft as an actor. You can find her working on movie sets with different projects in the local area. She is involved in the community as an advocate for women and children, actively serving on the boards of Natasha House, a transitional home for homeless women & children and Peninsula Women's Network, the oldest continuous women's networking organization in the country, where women empower women.
