Barbara Ann Michaels, REV BAM, Jester of the Peace is an interfaith minister and a clown theater performance artist. She works at the nexus of love, art and humor. With over 25 years as an artist and educator in the audience-interactive arts, Ms. Michaels re-unites audiences with humor as a prime tool for living well together:

Barbara Ann Michaels, Jester of the Peace, is a clown theater performance artist. With over 25 years background in audience-interactive theater and clown theater - and as an educator in both - she shares the rules of humor with insight and delight.

She has studied with master teachers around the world, and is honored to continue the traditions of classic comedy for modern audiences.

REV BAM is an interfaith minister, ordained by One Spirit Interfaith Seminary. She leads a secular congregation (all humans welcome) - House of Holy Humor - which uses art, love and humor as pathways for living with the mystery of life.

Her highest value is people finding and giving their gifts in their lifetime. As life is not set up for many people to even find their gifts, she has identified humor as a compassionate shortcut to release stress and promote healing, boosting mental wellness for individuals and communities. Uplifted people uplift people.
