His career has been distinguished by a number of senior consulting positions, architecting solutions for the Cybersecurity and IT infrastructure of large enterprises throughout the UK and Europe.
In this time, he has acquired a broad and deep skill-set, demonstrating executive leadership, helping the board set and implement effective, business-aligned, cybersecurity strategies.
Ashoka has founded and heads two companies:
1. SHOKA consulting LTD
SHOKA consulting is a Cyber Security Advisory, protecting and enabling UK Social Enterprise.
His most valuable offering is his virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) service, advising board executives how to create and direct an effective business-aligned Cyber Security Strategy that helps their enterprises 'survive & thrive' in Cyberspace.
2. wokati Technologies Limited
He is the founder and CEO of wokati Technologies UK: a Tech company which provides cloud-based, energy-efficient, fully-managed IT systems for small enterprise and the home.
Ashoka created a plug&go energy-efficient Cloud PC. It's a 2 watt, 2"x2"x2" cube that runs very fast, and reduces your carbon-footprint. It's powered by carbon-neutral datacentres.
Before founding wokati, Ashoka worked as a Senior Systems Engineer for IBM and Dell EMC.
