I can be called a serial-entrepreneur. I trained as an Accountant, three times over, CA & CMA from India and finally CPA from US. I kicked off my career at the age of 21 with a startup firm Kariwala Exports, determined to export ‘something’ to the West. The Universe has been kind and today we export textiles to 46 countries covering all six continents under Kariwala Industries Ltd, a company that has forays into PPE, Workwear, Sustainable Bags, Real Estate, Information Technology and Outsourcing services. I haven't yet stopped exploring new vistas and shall put my best foot forward to serve an unmet demand.
As an effort to give something back to society, I have adopted Ethics and Sustainability to the core of my heart. I believe, business is the most powerful vehicle to spread happiness and serve humanity and hence God. A good business should do charity, a great business should do away with the need for charity. The Sanskrit expression – सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः, सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः
“Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu Niramaya” (May all be Happy, May all be Healthy), sums up why I wake up, work hard, do something new and yet have miles to go before I sleep!
