Angelique Adams

I’m an engineer with 25 years of experience in operations, strategy, and innovation. I was a Director of R&D at aluminum giant Alcoa and Chief Innovation Officer at multibillion dollar global steelmaker, Aperam.

After years of successfully leading innovation, I discovered my true passion is developing people, not products.

Following the publication of my first career guide, You’re More Than a Diversity Hire: Women in STEM, I launched Angelique Adams Media Solutions LLC, a platform that creates books, online courses, and coaching programs.

I went from being laughed at when I told professors I wanted to get a Ph.D., to leading hundreds of scientists around the world. I know first-hand the challenges of being underrepresented at work, and I am passionate about helping to build diverse STEM leaders.
