Angela Edmunds

Angela Edmunds has been the Fashion Business Consultant in Residence at Harcum College for the past two years. Prior to that, she was a frequent guest speaker and critic and has been an incredible asset to our community and an inspiration to our students. In various professional roles, Angela’s many years have given her a depth and breadth of knowledge that is truly valuable. She can speak to so many aspects of the industry – design, styling, marketing and entrepreneurship, and more – with great authority. She is also a marvelous teacher. After several years of guest speaker events, we offered her a faculty position. The students respond to both the content of her courses and her warm and reflective teaching style with incredibly positive evaluations each semester. The students are riveted when she speaks and full of questions when she pauses, an ideal combination. In addition, Angela is remarkably easy to work with. We have often appreciated her organization, flexibility, and collaborative style. She’s enthusiastic, involved, and very professional, providing both a marvelous educational experience and opportunities for our students to become involved with the broader Philadelphia fashion community. We are very fortunate to have Angela as part of the Harcum community, and I have no reservations in giving her my highest recommendation.
