Bio

Andrew is an entrepreneur, leader, & innovator with 15+ years in sustainability & business. Andrew founded Earth Rebirth in college, eventually graduating with a B.S. in Sustainable Business from the University Of Oklahoma.

Earth Rebirth is a nonprofit educating and empowering people to take food, energy, & water into their own hands. Earth Rebirth is an award-winning organization known across Oklahoma for its diligent commitment to helping projects succeed long-term & setting a high standard for sustainability among communities and individuals. Since 2011, #EarthRebirth has helped set up over 150+ community gardens for schools, businesses, churches, and homes across Oklahoma. As of 2019, Norman Public Schools is the largest district in the state of Oklahoma to achieve 100% participation in school gardening as a result of partnering with Earth Rebirth. Currently, Earth Rebirth is working under the USDA Farm to School grant to expand resources for school gardens & create a one-of-a-kind #gardennetwork to help community gardens connect.

Andrew has served on a wide range of executive and community boards including the University of Oklahoma Environmental Concerns Committee, OU Sustainability Coalition, and Norman Env. Control Adv. Board, Sierra Club Policy Committee, & many others. He was selected in 2014 as 1 of 8 young professionals for the National Wildlife Federation Fellowship for young leaders. As a member of the City of Norman Environmental Control Advisory Board (ECAB), Andrew helped develop and co-author the Mayor's Climate Commitment; a document laying out the long-term sustainability goals for the City of Norman. His role was to form the commitment and strategy for the city to achieve 100% renewable energy. The city of Norman passed the commitment in 2018, becoming the 1st city in OK to commit to 100% renewable energy use.

In 2020, Andrew was brought on as Chief Operations Officer of From Seed to Spoon; a garden management app with over 700k downloads. In 2022, after almost two years of working to grow the company; From Seed to Spoon was acquired by #ParkSeed, one of the largest & oldest mail-order seed and plant companies in the United States. Taking over the position of Lead Product Manager, Andrew is now using over a decade of project leadership to oversee the direction & vision of #FromSeedtoSpoon with the hope of impacting the future of gardening & food access around the world.

Andrew is currently traveling on #GrowthTrip in search of deeper impacts & lessons on how we can overcome our largest battles both internally and as a society.
