Andrae Bailey

Andrae Bailey is the founder and CEO of both Change Everything, a nonprofit

corporation committed to facilitating social change, and of Lead Homelessness,

another nonprofit corporation that focuses on helping communities across

America solve the problem of homelessness in their respective jurisdictions.

Over the course of a career that has spanned more than two decades, Andrae

has led and partnered with some of the most successful independent sector

organizations in the United States, working in the field of social change and

homeless advocacy with impressive results. Throughout his career, Andrae’s

goal has been to help leaders find collaborative and strategic approaches to

creating change that truly impacts their communities and truly solves the

problems.  And to this end, Andrae works with the top public, business, and faith

leaders in a community to create measurable results and real solutions to their

critical social problems.

Andrae is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of the Central Florida

Commission on Homelessness, a Florida-based nonprofit corporation that led the

way in reducing Orlando’s chronically homeless population by more than 50

percent during Andrae’s 3-year tenure. So in 2015, in response to this success,

Governor Rick Scott appointed Andrae to the Florida Council on Homelessness.

Andrae graduated from Heritage University and Seminary, where he received a

master’s degree in Pastoral Theology.  He also has completed the Crummer

Business School’s mini-MBA Program, and he is an instructor at the Edyth Bush

Institute of Philanthropy. Andrae is also recognized by Certified Fund Raising

Executive International as a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).

Andrae is the creator of the “12 Dynamics of Social Change,” a model for social

advocacy that is based on historical precedent, proven scientific methodologies,

and a compilation of the “best practices” from communities across America that

are successfully solving entrenched social problems that are confounding and

frustrating most other cities and towns.

Due to his achievements, his innovation, and his reputation as a passionate

advocate for causes that truly matter, Andrae was named one of the “Top 40

Under 40” Business Executives in Central Florida by the Orlando Business

Journal in both 2013 and 2015, was listed in Orlando Magazine as one of Central

Florida’s “50 Most Powerful People” in 2015, and was the recipient of the

Orlando Sentinel’s prestigious “Central Floridian of the Year” award in 2016.
