Bio

Alison Cowan is the Practice Leader for Absence Management, at Workplace Medical, located in Hamilton, Ontario. Alison brings 20+ years’ experience as a leader in organizational health & wellness, workplace absence and disability management and strategy development and implementation. Alison was previously a senior director at two of the largest insurance companies in Canada as well as a global HR organization specializing in health and productivity solutions. Alison holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University and has continuing education credits in Human Resources obtained from Conestoga College.
