Alexa Helms is a bilingual strategic communicator with experience in the U.S. and in Latin America. She has created dozens of AHA moments for her clients which have led to live television segments in top media markets like Miami, New York and Los Angeles. Her ability to engineer newsworthy story angles has positioned her clients at the top of their sectors, with articles in industry-leading print and digital publications. In addition, Alexa has developed unique and innovative strategic partnership solutions, connecting her clients with celebrities and influencers.
Before launching her career in public relations, Alexa worked as a television anchor and reporter in markets like El Paso, Miami and Chicago. She also made several appearances on national news networks. Throughout the years she has developed powerful relationships with national and local press allowing her to mold her client’s stories into content and campaigns news outlets want to share.
Besides communications, Alexa is deeply passionate about Hispanic issues in the U.S. and she is an advocate for animals and works with several pet companies to better the lives of dogs.
Alexa recently finished her Executive Master of Science of Strategic Communication from Columbia University in New York City.
