Building Teams

Teams are dysfunctional, whether we like to admit it or not. The quicker a leader realizes this fact the faster they can work to remedy the situation and transform their team into a successful, forward-facing, vision and purpose-driven, cohesive unit. In this session, we explore the major dysfunctions of a team by focusing on the individuals who comprise the whole, learn how to recognize when a team might be in trouble, and identify specific, tangible actions a leader and manager can take to build successful teams, whether those teams are already working together or are just being selected.

Productive Conflict

Workplace conflict is inevitable. Everything DiSC® Productive Conflict helps learners' self-awareness of conflict behaviors. Rather than focusing on a step-by-step process for conflict resolution, learn effectively respond to the uncomfortable and unavoidable challenges of workplace conflict. Everything DiSC® Productive Conflict assists learners in curbing destructive behaviors to make conflict productive and, ultimately, improve workplace results and relationships.

By increasing self-awareness around conflict behaviors, Everything DiSC® Productive Conflict helps learners effectively respond to the uncomfortable and unavoidable challenges of workplace conflict.

With Productive Conflict, learners will:

• Explore the destructive and productive conflict behaviors of each DiSC® style

• Understand how to manage individuals' responses to conflict situations

• Discover communication strategies for engaging in productive
conflict with colleagues

Developing Managers

Everything DiSC® Management offers a customizable development solution proven to increase the effectiveness of anyone in a management role--whether managing direct reports or fostering a positive working relationship with one's own supervisor.

The complete program, including classroom training, and online pre-work and follow-up, highlights five key areas:

1) Understanding DiSC® styles
2) Directing and delegating
3) Creating a motivating environment
4) Developing others who possess different styles
5) Identifying strategies for working more effectively with managers

Participants will learn how their specific management style influences their time management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, and discover methods for adapting to the styles of others to bring out the best in each and every employee under their charge.

Work Of Leaders

Everything DiSC Work of Leaders® helps leaders at all levels make the connection between their DiSC® style and leadership. This all-inclusive classroom and online program approaches leadership as a one-to-many relationship (as opposed to the one-to-one relationship explored in Everything DiSC® Management). With one unified model of leadership—Vision, Alignment, and Execution—Everything DiSC® WOL helps leaders understand their own leadership styles and how their tendencies may influence their effectiveness in specific leadership situations.
