Her training includes study in the Ayurvedic tradition through Deepak Chopra, enlightenment through Marianne Williamson, Labyrinth guidance and color therapy. She is a brown belt in the Korean Martial Art of Hap-Kido, a yoga enthusiast and avid wheel roller – loving to rollerblade and cycle.
As owner and founder of Ahava Felicidad Hair and Body a trademark holistic care practice that caters to and assists families and individuals who choose to live a chemical free lifestyle, AhavaFelicidad has carved a huge niche in the fabric of natural haircare and guidance in New Jersey and beyond because of her expertise and quality. There are three main divisions, natural care services and consultations which include hairbraiding, twisting, rolling and non-traditional weaving, Felicidad Signature Line of products used in studio and at home featuring Felicidad Hair Sugar and trainings for natural professionals and workshops for caregivers to teach how to care for children’s hair.
2nd generation entrepreneur, Ahava Felicidad has been a part of the natural movement since 1999 while in the beauty field since she started doing her own hair at the tender age of 5 and hair for others as a teenager in 1986. Her expertise and levels of mastery continuously increased throughout her years in college to bring her to point of knowing and being able to teach and create over 100 techniques for natural empowerment, cultural esteem and enlightenment through hair and body.
