Abisola Akinkuowo is a higher education speaker and advocates for education equity for minority students. With a background in managing education programs and policy initiatives, she has expertise in structuring programs and curricula for nonprofits and organizations to give minority students a unique school experience that promotes excellence and cultural competence.
Her passion for education equity began at the University of Maryland College Park, in the President's Office specifically in the federal relations tackling education issues students face from higher education access to retention.
She has headlined professional conferences, with sessions on navigating the financial aid process, how to become debt-free, the power of networking, student leadership, college attainment & success, and more.
Abisola has managed national education programs that aim to educate and equip college students on how to advocate for themselves.
Abisola is the proud owner and CEO of Abisola Consulting Group, popularly known on social media as "The College Funding Queen", a proud Nigerian-American living in Prince George's County, Maryland. She is an extreme couponer and volunteers her time leading the high school department of Bethel Campus Fellowship as her way of paying it forward while raising up next-generation leaders.
